The Role:
- Responsible for managing daily financial transactions and activities
- Managing sales and purchase ledger, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and timely payments
- Responsible for banking duties including bank lodgements and bank reconciliations
- Processing payroll
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Liaise with external Accountants in relation to audits
- Facilitating and supporting the external Accountant with month end and year end close
Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar accounts role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong IT skills including knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Office
- Capacity to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
- Ability to liaise well with others and delegate tasks
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
