Learning & Development Administrator - Ballymoney - Full Time

Working within a large, multi‑site organisation providing essential services across local communities, the Learning & Development Administrator will play a key role in supporting staff development. You will help ensure training runs smoothly, systems remain accurate, and colleagues receive a high‑quality learning experience that strengthens service delivery.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the Line Manager, including day‑to‑day tasks, ad‑hoc requests, and reporting.
- Coordinate all training activity including booking venues, arranging catering, scheduling facilitators, preparing documentation, and communicating with Line Managers and learners.
- Provide on‑site support before, during, and after training sessions.
- Support delivery of the L&D strategy by assisting the team with planning and implementation.
- Work to agreed standards and timescales to ensure staff development needs are met.
- Maintain the e‑learning platform and ensure content is accurate and up to date.
- Develop and maintain data systems, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Handle queries efficiently and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Identify improvements to systems, processes, and workflows.
- Support audits relating to process, compliance, and data accuracy.
- Attend meetings and events within the team, wider organisation, and externally when required.
Criteria:
- Minimum 12 months administrative experience in an L&D or similar environment.
- Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using HR/L&D systems or equivalent reporting platforms.
- Excellent planning and organisation with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and share knowledge.
- Ability to maintain positive stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Good digital literacy including Teams/Zoom and PowerPoint.
- Full driving licence and access to a car insured for business use, or ability to demonstrate mobility to fulfil the role.
