Finance Analyst - Ballymena

About the role:
- £15.88 per hour
- Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm)
- 37.5 hours a week
- Duration: Immediate start up to 8 months
- Opportunity for hybrid working following the initial induction period

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Assist with the preparation, analysis and investigation of the financial planning aspects of Capital business cases using the appropriate accounting techniques and Departmental guidance.
Assist with the completion of business case PPE’s and reviews as and when required.
- Assist with the preparation, analysis and investigation of the financial planning aspects of Capital business cases using the appropriate accounting techniques and Departmental guidance.

- Assist with the review and evaluation of revenue service development business cases.
- Assist with the continual development of suitable databases for recording and monitoring Capital and Revenue business cases and the financial planning data used within the financial planning department.
What you'll need for this role:
- Demonstrate 4 years relevant* finance experience.
- OR Diploma for Accounting Technicians (ATI) or equivalent (QCF Level 5) with 2 years relevant* finance experience.
- Working knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Ability to prioritise and work within timescales and deadlines.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present data and information from a range of systems/sources.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
