General Operative - Kilrea - Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Kilrea. This hands-on role will support production processes across multiple departments including Stores, Material Handling and Drills, with flexibility to move where required to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
About the role:
- £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
- Monday to Thursday
- 7am - 6pm shifts
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Ensure all materials/products are received through correct processes
- Quality check all internal manufactured products/parts before despatch to customer
- Ensure shortage identified & logistics
- Quality check all internal manufactured products/parts before despatch to customer
- Ensure correct stock management is put away in appropriate location within warehouse environment e.g. racking and shelving
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards - ensure storage, facility equipment and materials are kept n a neat, clean and orderly fashion
What you'll need for this role:
- 2 years’ experience of working within a manufacturing/production environment
- High level of knowledge of reading and understanding numbers
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of working with Metal products
- Understanding of production processes from receiving goods in, manufacturing/production, to despatch
