- Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week -
- Duration of post: Temporary until the end of March

What you'll be doing in this role:
- You will be responsible for the provision of a wide range of professional, technical and administration support services to staff working within the Building Control section of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
What you'll need for this role:
- Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE passes to include Maths and English language (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy.
- 1 years' relevant Business Support experience in an office environment (3 years if criteria one isn't met)
- Effective use of computerised information management systems.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have at least one year’s (three year’s if criterion 1 is not met) relevant Business Support experience in an office environment to include:
Working as part of a team to deliver frontline customer service to members of the public and/or external organisations.

The ability to deal efficiently with large volumes of work and prioritise competing demands.
- A qualification that demonstrates competent word processing/database skills, and the ability to carry out broader computing tasks using other software packages. Alternatively, if no qualification is held, applicants must have at least one year’s experience using Microsoft Office and related applications, particularly Word and Excel.
