Garage Door Installer - Ballymena - Permanent
Riada Resourcing is delighted to be representing a well-established and successful manufacturer, supplier and installer of roller garage doors, sectional garage doors and steel personnel door sets as they seek to recruit a Garage Door Installer to join its growing team.

What you will be doing in the role:
Reporting to the Sales & Installations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of garage doors and door automation systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately and to a high standard. Duties include:
- Install and service a range of garage doors and door automation systems.
- Ensure installations are completed to specification and customer requirements.
- Carry out maintenance and repair work when required.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and health and safety practices.
- Assist with other operational duties as required.
What you will need for the role:
Esstential:
- Full, clean driving licence (C1 licence desirable).
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measurements accurately and follow written instructions.
- Good communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional overtime and weekend work when required.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home on occasion.
- Physically capable of carrying out heavy manual handling duties.
Desirable:
- Recent skilled labouring experience within a construction, engineering, mechanical maintenance, fitting or trade background.
- Experience using a wide variety of site-based hand and power tools.
- Previous installation, maintenance or fitting experience.
