Admin Scheduler (Part Time) - Northern Ireland Housing Executive -  Portadown
 
Northern Ireland Housing Executive is seeking a part-time Admin Scheduler to join its Portadown team. This role will support the smooth day-to-day running of operations by coordinating schedules, managing administrative processes, and ensuring services are delivered efficiently.
 
About the role
  • £13.69 per hour  
  • Monday and Friday (8.30am - 4.30pm)
  • 14.48 hours per week
  • Duration: Temporary, ongoing

What you'll be doing in this role: 
  • Work within a small team to deliver a range of services which will include, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Contact tenants by telephone and arrange appointments.
  • Schedule or reschedule all appointments to suit tenants and or business needs.
  • Correlate repairs data and track repairs progress against agreed deadlines, following up on any jobs with missed deadlines.
  • Build and maintain an understanding of the schedule of rates.
  • Communicate effectively with Tenants, NIHE staff and other statutory bodies.
What you'll need for this role:  
  • Hold a BTEC National Certificate or equivalent Professional or Technical qualification (Level 3) plus at least one year’s relevant general administrative experience
  • OR Have five GCSEs (Level 2), or equivalent qualification, plus at least two years’ relevant general administrative experience
  • OR Can demonstrate three years’ general administrative and can demonstrate ongoing learning through completion of relevant courses and/or through relevant supported work place or on-the-job training 
  • Advanced IT proficiency
  • As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
