Senior Estimator - Toomebridge - Permanent
Join a leading construction company in Toomebridge as a Senior Estimator and take ownership of multiple tender submissions within a growing, forward-thinking organisation. Supporting the delivery of innovative modular building projects across the UK and Ireland, you will work closely with internal teams to produce accurate, commercially robust bids aligned with business objectives.
About this role:
- Circa £50,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm with 3pm Friday finish)
- 29 days annual leave
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Price Design & Build tenders from first principles through measurement and application of unit rates.
- Obtain and analyse Sub‑Contractor quotations, selecting the most commercially suitable options for inclusion in tenders.
- Interpret full tender requirements across various Design & Build contract forms, including JCT and NEC, identifying commercial risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Present tender submissions to senior management for review, highlighting commercial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure all tenders are submitted on time, to a high standard, and within profitability guidelines.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather all necessary supporting information promptly.
- Act as a point of contact for contract overspends in conjunction with relevant project teams.
- Attend internal and external meetings to support project delivery in line with budget and programme expectations.
What you'll need for this role:
- Technically strong with a solid understanding of the construction industry.
- Experienced in Design & Build projects.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Committed, enthusiastic, and driven to deliver high‑quality work.
