Technical Production Operative - Moore Concrete - Ballymena
This is an excellent opportunity to join Moore Concrete in Ballymena as a Technical Production Operative. Working on the production floor, you will monitor computer-controlled systems and ensure materials are accurately measured and prepared to maintain product quality and minimise waste, while supporting efficient operations and high safety standards.
About this role:
- £16.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday (7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm)
- 40 hours per week
- 30 days annual leave including statutory holidays
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Operate and monitor computer-controlled production systems to ensure accurate measurement and mixing of materials.
- Ensure production batches meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure correct measurements and minimise material waste.
- Monitor production screens and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation throughout the production process.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure materials are supplied in line with production schedules.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company health and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist with general production duties as required.
