Join Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council as a Leisure Attendant based at the Antrim Forum, supporting the safe day-to-day operation of leisure facilities.
About the Role:
- £13.69 per hour + 10% shift allowance
- Based in Antrim Forum
- 37 hours per week
- Monday -Sunday (varied shifts)
- Public Sector
- Up to 3 months with a view to extension

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Responsible for carrying out duties in all areas of Leisure to ensure a high quality service is provided to all customers.
- To provide a safe clean and presentable environment for customers.
- To provide a professional high standard of lifeguarding service for council pool users
What you'll need for this role:
- Hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent
- Shortlisted applicants must undertake and pass a swim competency assessment to be progressed to the interview stage of recruitment. Details of swim test competency below
- Have a flexible approach to working
- The post you are applying for is a regulated post and therefore you must declare all spent and unspent convictions. A satisfactory AccessNI Enhanced Disclosure with children’s barred list check will form part of pre-employment checks.
