Control Panel Builder - Ballymena - Permanent
An established engineering company in Ballymena is seeking an experienced Electrical Switchboard and Control Panel Builder to join its growing team. This is a key role supporting the build, wiring and assembly of high-quality electrical control panels and switchboards across a range of projects. Working closely with the General Manager and existing panel-building team, the successful candidate will play an important part in strengthening capacity, maintaining quality standards and supporting continued business growth.
About the role:
- Up to £18.00 per hour (DOE plus benefits)
- Monday to Friday
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Assembly of electrical control panel enclosures
- Laying out of back plates and fixing components
- Fixing door‑mounted components
- Power and control cable wiring
- Installation of switchboard ACBs, MCCBs, fuse‑switches, and similar equipment
- Installation of bus‑bar systems
What you'll need for this role:
- Previous experience in a panel‑building workshop or factory
- 4 GCSEs at grades A–C
