Programme Manager Officer - Belfast
A great opportunity to support a major regional transformation programme within Health and Social Care. The Programme Manager Officer will help deliver a high-quality PMO function, coordinating programme activities, maintaining documentation, supporting governance, and overseeing a team of Project Administrators to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement.
About the role:
- £19.10 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 37.5 hours a week
- Temporary role on going until end of January 2026 with a possible extension

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Oversee the delivery of an efficient and effective PMO administrative function for the equip Programme including planning, allocation & quality assurance of administrative activities and prioritisation of tasks in accordance with overall Programme priorities
- Support the Senior PMO Manager to embed and maintain Programme Management Office structures, processes, templates and standards to ensure the effective delivery and control of the Programme
- Support the Senior PMO Manager to develop, maintain and monitor key programme documentation including programme plan, RAID registers, benefits realisation logs, and programme reports
- Support the Senior PMO Manager in the creation and dissemination of reports and presentations using metrics from key programme documentation
- Provide line management support to a team of Project Administrators, including provision of supervision and training support
- Provide training and onboarding support to new team members as required
- Work closely with the Senior PMO Manager and Programme Manager to support planning, logistics, preparation of papers, and delivery of programme governance meetings
What you'll need for this role:
- A university degree AND 2 years recent relevant experience*
- OR A HND or equivalent recognised qualification AND 3 years recent relevant experience
- OR 5 years recent relevant experience
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing (as appropriate to meet the needs of the post in full), and to establish good professional relationships;
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Packages - word, excel, outlook
