Junior Manufacturing Engineer - L/Derry

A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join a global leader in the heavy equipment sector at their Campsie facility. Ideal for an ambitious graduate or early-career engineer, this role offers hands-on experience in a world-class environment with excellent career growth potential.
You will support the development of manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment, driving improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency while reducing costs.  
 
About the role:
  • £32,000 – £35,000 + performance bonus

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Work alongside Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering teams to support day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to cost reduction projects, process improvements, and problem-solving activities.
  • Ensure compliance with product and industry standards.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of standardised processes across product groups.
  • Gain experience in project management, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to build technical and leadership skills.
 What you'll need for this role:
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Strong technical aptitude with an interest in manufacturing systems, mechanical and hydraulic processes.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (CREO preferred) would be an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A proactive team player with a desire to learn and develop.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and innovation.
