Concrete Finishers - Toomebridge - Permanent
We are seeking experienced and motivated Concrete Finishers to join a leading precast concrete manufacturer in Toomebridge. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for finishing, repairing, and preparing precast concrete products to the highest quality standards, ensuring each unit meets required specifications before leaving the factory.

- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours a week
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Carefully remove formwork (shutters and formers) from cured precast units.
- Thoroughly clean concrete surfaces to remove residual concrete, dust, or cement residue.
- Smooth and prepare surfaces using grinders, sanders, or other finishing tools to remove imperfections.
- Cut or shape sections of precast concrete to meet project requirements, including trimming edges or creating grooves, voids, or other features.
- Identify and repair any defects or cracks during or after formwork removal.
- Apply surface treatments, such as water or acid washing, to achieve the required finish and expose aggregates where specified.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring products meet all tolerances and specifications.
- Clean and maintain finishing tools and equipment, ensuring they are ready for future use.
- Collaborate with other members of the production team, including formwork staff, steel fixers, and quality control inspectors.
What you'll need for this role:
- Previous experience in concrete finishing, precast manufacturing, or a related trade (preferred but not essential, as training can be provided).
- Ability to use grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools effectively.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong team-working skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
