About the role:
- £12.21 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday (8.00am – 4.00pm / 11:30am - 7:00pm / 9.00am - 5.00pm)
- Sat & Sun (8.30 – 4.30 pm, once every 5 weeks)
- Location: City Hospital, Belfast
- Public sector

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Using Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archive Systems (PACS) within Imaging in Belfast Trust, register referrals in line with Integrated Elective Access Policy(IEAP) and department protocols.
- Liaise with client, staff and departments internal and external to the Trust to ensure full and efficient service.
- Participate in general office duties in accordance with local Policies & Procedures, i.e. filing, photocopying and data entry or typing if applicable.
- Provide admin cover at Imaging reception desks behaving in accordance with Trust Values
- Make and receive telephone calls and take appropriate action.
- Open, distribute and re-direct mail as appropriate.
- In line with Trust policy participate in Trust staff reviews and ensure personal Mandatory training up to date.
- Be willing to participate in shift working including long days, weekends, bank holidays across all sites within the Belfast Trust.
- Maintain standards of confidentiality regarding all information held in respect of service users and staff.
- Provide cover for staff during periods of sick/annual leave.
- To deal with day-to-day queries as appropriate.
- To assist in training of other staff, as necessary
What you'll need for this role:
- 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above to include English Language or equivalent qualification.
- OR NVQ Level II in Administration.
- OR A minimum of one year’s administrative clerical experience
- AND the flexibility to work in a changing environment. Availability to work an extended working day and to work over the weekend period where required
- Effective Communications skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a multidisciplinary team
