LGV Driver - Mid and East Antrim Borough Council - Ballymena

The Role:
- £14.84 per hour
- Monday to Thursday (7.30 am to 3.30 pm)
- Friday (7.30am to 12.30pm)
- Ongoing for 3 months
- Public Sector
- Overtime, double time and triple time rates available from outset
- Please note, closing date for applications is Friday 27th June
Duties:
- Provide general driving support to Operational Services to ensure that all refuse is removed from household, industrial and commercial premises such as houses, shops, schools, business premises for appropriate disposal
- Responsible for any vehicle, equipment, passengers etc. allocated for the purpose of waste collection, cleansing, recycling or other appropriate services.
Criteria:
- Valid Category C Driving Licence
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card
- A minimum of two years’ continuous LGV driving experience
- Please Note - Any penalty points active on the driving license must be declared along with the relevant code, these will then be assessed for relevance to the duties of the post
