Foreman – Campsie - Permanent
We are currently partnering with a highly respected and long-established galvanising company based in Campsie, renowned for delivering premium metal treatment and finishing services. With a strong emphasis on safety, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, this organisation continues to thrive and expand within the industry.
On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily production activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to step into a pivotal role, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the continued success of a trusted industry leader.
About the role:
- £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Oversee daily operations in the galvanising plant, ensuring production targets are met
- Supervise and coordinate a team of workers across shifts
- Monitor safety compliance and enforce OH&S standards
- Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the galvanising process
- Organise and delegate tasks effectively for smooth workflow
- Communicate with management regarding production schedules, maintenance needs, and team performance
- Train new staff and support ongoing skills development
What you'll need for this role:
- Proven experience in a Foreman or Supervisor role, ideally in a galvanising or industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of galvanising processes and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Forklift licence and confined space training (desirable)
