Service Desk Analyst - Northern Ireland Water - Belfast

About the Role:
- Location: Westland House, Belfast (with occasional travel to other sites)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional out-of-hours support)
- Hourly Rate: £14.59 ph
- Duration: Temporary (up to 3 months) possibility of extension

As a Service Desk Analyst with Northern Ireland Water, you'll be the first line of support for over 1,500 users, helping resolve technical issues and providing expert advice on a wide range of IT services, including hardware, software, and network issues. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of NI Water's ICT services.
What you'll be doing:
- Support: Assist with hardware (servers, laptops, printers) and software (Windows, MS Office 365, VPN) for internal users.
- Customer Service: Deliver high-quality, friendly, and efficient support, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and internal teams.
- Incident Management: Prioritise and resolve incidents in line with SLAs and ITIL procedures.
- Problem Solving: Use your technical knowledge to troubleshoot and escalate as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in IT projects, providing updates on services and ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
What we're looking for:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an IT support role with a focus on customer service and problem resolution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in supporting Windows 10+, MS Office applications, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage your workload efficiently.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
