Brake Press Operative - Full Time | Tandragee
Riada Resourcing is representing a manufacturing and engineering client, designing and producing specialist equipment used across the concrete, construction and environmental industries for customers throughout the UK and international markets.
Due to increased capacity requirements and the installation of additional material preparation equipment, an additional team member is required within the Material Preparation Department. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be the programming and operation of a Brake Press Operator, while also providing support across other material preparation functions as required.
Hours of Work
Flexible 39-hour working week, to be agreed within the following operating hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 3:30pm
Pay & Benefits
- £14.00 per hour
- £45 weekly attendance bonus payable following successful completion of the 12-week probationary period
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme the Brake Press for a variety of operations.
- Operate the Brake Press safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all pressed components meet the required quality standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
- Support wider material preparation activities when required.
Criteria:
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Willingness and capability to undertake manual handling tasks.
- Previous overhead crane experience is desirable.
