Plasma / Laser Machine Operative - Full Time | Tandragee
Riada Resourcing is representing a manufacturing and engineering client, designing and producing specialist equipment used across the concrete, construction and environmental industries for customers throughout the UK and international markets.
Our client is seeking to recruit an additional Plasma/Laser Machine Operative to join its Material Preparation Team.
The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be the operation of a CNC plate cutting machine, while also supporting the wider Material Preparation Team with general duties as required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Hours of Work:
- Flexible 39-hour working week, to be agreed within the following operating hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday: 8:00am to 3:30pm
Pay & Benefits:
- £13.00 per hour
- £45 weekly attendance bonus payable following successful completion of the 12-week probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load materials onto the cutting bed using an overhead crane.
- Operate CNC plate cutting machinery and run CNC programmes.
- Identify and accurately label manufactured parts.
- Unload completed parts from the machine.
- Kit and organise parts for specific production jobs.
- Assist with general material preparation duties as required.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times.
Criteria:
- Previous experience in machine operation.
- Ability to operate an overhead crane.
- Ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Forklift experience would be desirable.
