HGV Class 2 Driver (Stores Duties) - Full Time | Magherafelt
Riada are recruiting on behalf of a leading employer in Magherafelt for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy Supply Chain & Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to take on a varied role combining driving, stock control, and warehouse duties, ensuring materials and products are delivered safely and efficiently to meet operational needs.
About the Role:
- £Competitive salary
- Monday & Tuesday: 6.45am – 4.45pm, Wednesday & Thursday: 7.45am – 4.45pm, Friday: 7.45am – 1.00pm
- Full-time, Temporary Ongoing, Immediate start available
- Full training provided
What You'll Be Doing:
- Receiving deliveries, unloading goods and recording traceability information.
- Inspecting incoming goods to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and reporting discrepancies.
- Storing stock correctly and maintaining organised warehouse locations.
- Moving stock by hand, lifting equipment or forklift where required.
- Transporting materials and stock between sites using a Class 2 vehicle.
- Updating stock and inventory information on computerised systems.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock counts.
- Working in accordance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Criteria:
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a warehouse, stores, dispatch or similar environment.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- FLT Licence and experience operating forklifts.
- Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Good IT skills, including experience using ERP, inventory or stock control systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required to support operational needs
