Riada Resourcing is currently recruiting for a CNC Press Brake Operator on behalf of a leading local manufacturer specialising in the design and fabrication of high-quality steel components and engineered products. - £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday – Flexible working hours available
- Full Time | Permanent
The Role
As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you will play a key role within the production team, working with a range of steel materials to manufacture precision-engineered components for bespoke projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality work while meeting production schedules and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Press Brake and Guillotine machinery
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Fold and form mild steel ranging from 3mm to 15mm thickness
- Check finished components to ensure quality and accuracy
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the workshop and production teams
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience operating CNC Press Brake machinery is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
