Operations Support (System Support) - Belfast - Full Time
Join the Public Sector in Belfast as an Operations Support (System Support) worker and play a key part in providing a broad range of ICT services across the organisation.
About the role:
- £15.88 per hour
- Location: James House, Belfast
- 2 positions available
- Immediate start
- 37.5 hours a week
- Temporary role up until 30th November 2026

What you'll be doing in this role:
- To carry out analysis, diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
- To provide technical advice and guidance to a range of customers.
- To build a close working relationship and develop an understanding of the needs of the Business System service users.
- To develop an understanding of and provide technical advice to service users in relation to the operation of the Business Systems solution.
- To follow the BSO ITS change, release, and configuration management processes.
- To manage incidents and service requests ensuring prompt and appropriate escalation of incidents, service requests and the identification of problems.
What you'll need for this role:
- A university degree in a computer science related discipline or equivalent recognised ICT professional qualification PLUS 1 years recent relevant experience. OR,
- An HND in a computer science related discipline AND 2 years relevant experience. OR,
- 4 years relevant experience.
- (Relevant experience is defined as providing or supporting information and communications technology systems in a business environment. “Business environment” in this context includes ICT areas such as Application support and maintenance).
