About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer to join the team and play a key role in supporting employees, driving engagement initiatives and ensuring effective HR practices across the business.
The Role
As HR Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR operations while acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management. This is a varied role that combines employee relations, recruitment, talent development, HR administration, and culture initiatives.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact by helping to attract, develop, and retain talent while contributing to the ongoing success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to employees and managers.
- Assist with employee relations matters and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate recruitment activities from advertising through to onboarding.
- Support learning, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain HR records and prepare employee documentation.
- Assist with payroll administration, reporting, and benefits administration.
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with employment legislation.
Criteria:
- Third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach with the ability to support and lead HR initiatives.
- Interest in using technology and AI-driven solutions to improve HR processes.
