About the role:
- £12.71 per hour
- Crozier Lodge Day Centre, Banbridge
- 30 hrs per week, Mon - Fri 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Immediate start, temporary until 29th October 2026

What you'll be doing in this role:

Conduct daily, weekly and periodic maintenance of all surfaces, sanitary fittings, and floor coverings

Replenish supplies of toilet rolls, soap, paper towels and alcohol gel dispensers.

Receive, store, heat, temperature probe and serve cook chill meals.

Complete all relevant temperature records including fridge, delivery, cooking and reheating records.

Clean all equipment within the Catering Department including food trolleys, cooking utensils, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery etc and associated areas e.g. stores, cupboards etc. Load and unload the dishwasher.

Adhere to all Policies & Procedures including COSCC, Colour Coding, Food Safety Regulations, and Waste Management.

Carry out all other duties of a similar nature and appropriate to the grade.
What you'll need for this role:
- Have experience of carrying out a range of domestic, housekeeping and or catering duties in a paid working environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and to participate as a team member.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload.
- Have a willing and co-operative attitude/manner.
- Ability to use initiative and cope with difficult situations in a calm manner.
- Ability to relate easily to staff and service users with effective communication skills
- Be flexible with regard to working arrangements.
- Have an awareness of Health and Safety Standards to include a working knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control
- Have an understanding of confidentiality in the workplace.
