Installation Engineer - Ballymena - Permanent
Riada Resourcing is proud to partner with a long‑established, family‑owned manufacturer specialising in high‑performance commercial and industrial door solutions.
The Installation Engineer plays a key role in delivering and supporting these systems, taking responsibility for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of equipment across a diverse portfolio of client sites.
Key Details:
- Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (DOE)
- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm & Friday from 8am to 2.30pm
- Location: Base Ballymena (Travel throughout NI for install & maintenance)
- Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Installs systems -Fits industrial/commercial door systems.
- Reads technical drawings -Interprets plans and site specs.
- Ensures compliance -Meets manufacturer and industry standards.
- Tests & commissions - Completes final functional checks.
- Documents work - Records installation and handover info.
- Performs PPM - Conducts preventative maintenance.
- Services systems - Routine inspections and servicing.
- Prevents faults - Identifies wear and early failures.
- Advises customers - Recommends remedial actions.
- Diagnoses faults - Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
- Responds to breakdowns - Emergency and warranty call‑outs.
- Provides on‑call cover - Participates in out‑of‑hours rota.
Criteria:
- Demonstrates proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial or commercial door solutions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
- Competent in electrical fault‑finding and safe working practices.
- Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements accurately.
- Full clean driving license
