This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing Accounts Payable function, supporting a busy finance operation while driving process improvements, maintaining strong financial controls and delivering excellent internal customer service.
The Role:
As Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient processing of transactions and supporting the delivery of finance objectives.
You'll play a key role in leading the team through growth, identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardisation, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous development.
Criteria:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or 3+ years' relevant experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous)
- Currently studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional qualification such as CIMA or ATI
