Shared Services Support Officer | Armagh | Public Sector
Are you an organised administrator with strong IT skills and a proactive approach to your work? This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy public sector organisation, providing essential administrative and operational support within a professional shared services environment.
About the role:
- £12.75 per hour
- 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday
- Location: Rosewood Villa, St Luke's, Armagh
- temporary for up to 3 months initially
- Public sector
- Closing date: Monday 15th June 2026 at 12 noon (we may close this role early if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants)
Duties include:
- Act as point of contact for all customers and clients ensuring queries / issues escalated where needed
- Input and manage data
- Assist with analysis and monitoring of information / statistics
- Collate information and assist with the preparation of report, documents, and proposals for senior staff
- Assist in the development and implementation of relevant systems within the service area
What you'll need for this role:
- A minimum of five GCSE's to include English Language and Maths (Grades A -C) or equivalent qualification
OR 18 months of relevant clerical / administrative experience
- Demonstrated experience in updating data
- Ability to prioritise work to achieve set deadlines and to use own initiative
- Effective communication skills, orally, written and electronically with specific call handling experience
- Knowledge and experience in the use of information technology to include Microsoft office
