Join the public sector as a Domestic Assistant and play a key role in maintaining clean and safe environments, with roles available across various locations in Northern Ireland.
- £12.71 per hour
- Roles available in various locations across Northern Ireland
- 10 - 20 hours per week
- Temporary, approx 3 - 6 months

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Contribute to ensuring the highest standards of environmental cleanliness within designated area of work.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is clean, in good state of repair and stored correctly whilst not in use.
- Floor maintenance to include vacuuming, mopping and use of rotator machinery.
- Decontaminating and cleaning of sanitary facilities.
- Replenishment of consumables i.e. handtowels / soap / toilet paper etc.
- Damp dusting of touch points, furniture, walls and fixtures and fittings
What you'll need for this role:
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and follow written instructions.
- Basic numeracy & literacy skills.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to cope with difficult situations in a calm and professional manner as part of a team in a patient/user focused environment.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the work place.
- Knowledge of the role of a Domestic Assistant.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.
