Labourer - Ballymena - Permanent
Join an established team in Ballymena as a Labourer and support a range of road surfacing and civils projects across multiple locations. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, consistent work and the chance to build a career within the industry.
About this role:
- £13.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday (flexibility required for weekend work during busy periods)
- Overtime available depending on workload
- Overtime rates: Time and a half (1.5x) Double time (2x) for Sundays
- Permanent, full-time position
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Assisting with road surfacing operations including tar laying and spreading
- Supporting kerbing and edging works
- Preparing surfaces for tarring (cleaning, levelling, groundwork)
- Operating hand tools and assisting with site equipment
- Supporting plant operators and skilled trades
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
- General labouring duties as required
What you'll need for this role:
- Previous experience in construction, civils, roadworks or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding role
- Good attendance and timekeeping
- Flexibility to work weekends when required
- Full driving licence (desirable due to site-based work)
