Digital Support Technician - Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service - Lisburn HQ

About the role:
- £13.54 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 36.25 hours a week
- Temporary (up to 6 months with a possible extension)

What you'll need for this role:
- Creating and providing user guidance
- Creating all staff email notifications for system changes
- Enhancements, issues etc.
- Managing calls on a service desk by providing technical support
- Setting up new user accounts
- Following the starter, mover and leaver process
- Desktop support
- Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues
What you'll need for this role:
- A HNC level qualification in a computer related subject AND have at least one years’ recent experience in a System Support Technician role
- OR have at least 3 years of recent experience in a System Support Technician role
- Demonstrate effective planning, organisation, prioritising skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset
- A current driving licence or access to a form of transport that will permit them to meet the requirements of the post in full.
