Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking a passionate and commercially minded Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic planning as the business continues to grow and strengthen its presence in international markets.

    - £Competitive salary
- 25 - 30 hours a week
- Flexible working hours, 
- Monday to Friday
- Permanent role
What you will be doing in this role:
    - Understanding financial performance, driving and tracking actions to deliver our strategic priorities and key targets
-  Providing in-depth profitability analysis to identify opportunity, risk, and inform strategic decisions
-  Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across the business, liaising with key departments to deliver accurate annual and quarterly business plans
-  To work closely with Group sales functions to support scenario planning for business growth
-  Support on specific projects and engineering changes to understand and track financial impacts
-  Financial analysis for new opportunities with assessment of immediate and longer-term returns
-  Development of new reporting tools to understand business performance and compliment financial reporting
-  Financial and complimentary systems transformation to improve financial reporting
What you'll need for this role:
    - Minimum 5+ years’ experience of working in a finance function 
- Previous experience working in a similar or in a manufacturing organisation
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience of communicating findings to cross functional teams
