Corporate Communications Manager (Maternity Leave) - Ballymena
 
A leading education organisation in Ballymena is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications professional to lead internal and external communications, ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging across all channels.
 
About the role:
  • £45,718 per year
  • Monday to Friday
  • Maternity leave cover
  • Reporting to: Head of Marketing & Communications 
What you'll be doing in this role:
  •  Creation and delivery of an internal communications programme.
  • Preparation of briefing papers to include corporate responses to Ministerial, Assembly and DfE queries.
  • To produce an Annual Report of the highest quality and to undertake editorial responsibility for other corporate publications and supporting literature, newsletters, web initiatives and communications to staff and external audiences.
  • Be responsible annual Internal Communications Programme (ICP), including delivery mechanisms to assess its effectiveness.

  • Liaise with senior colleagues ensuring a consistent approach to content, tone and style for communication across all channels.
What you'll need for this role:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development.
  • 3 years experience in a role with responsibility for internal communications. 
  • Preparing and editing corporate communications materials to the highest standard.
  • Preparing briefing documents and presenting to senior executives/ board level.
  • Analysing diverse sources of data and information.
  • Using digital platforms and presentation tools as communication channels.
  • Flexibility to travel between campuses and to external venues
