Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician - Toomebridge - Permanent
A leading manufacturer in the construction sector is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join its growing technical and design team. The successful candidate will produce precise construction and factory production drawings for a variety of precast concrete products, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.

About the role:
- £27,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
- Monday to Friday
- 37 hours a week
- Department: Technical / Design
- Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Produce accurate 2D construction and production drawings using AutoCAD.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into manufacturing details.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs meet specification and industry standards.
- Maintain and update drawing files in line with company procedures.
- Liaise with production staff to ensure feasibility and clarity of designs before manufacture.
- Resolve technical queries from factory and site teams.
- Complete all work within agreed deadlines, ensuring high accuracy and quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes.
What you'll need for this role:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within construction or manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of construction and/or manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
