The post holder will be a key member of the Workforce Directorate and will contribute to the achievement of the overall Directorate’s performance objectives. The post holder will have specific responsibilities in relation to a workforce area(s), providing core advice, guidance and support to Managers on a range of workforce issues, with a particular focus on attendance management and employee relations matters, as outlined below. In addition, the post holder will be expected to act as a member of the wider team in ensuring the delivery of a proactive, responsive and professional HR service to internal and external stakeholders.

- £19.10 per hour
- Belfast HQ
- 37.5 hours a week
- Temporary, approx 6 months

What you'll need for this role:
- Have a relevant degree or recognised professional qualification plus a minimum of two years’ post graduate middle* management experience within a Human Resources (HR) function, providing professional advice and guidance on a range of workforce issues.
- OR Have a minimum of five years’ experience two of which must be at a middle* management level, within a Human Resources (HR) function, providing professional advice and guidance on a range of workforce issues.
- Have, or commit to acquiring, an advanced (post-graduate) level
qualification in HR
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment (This criterion will be waived in the case of
applicants whose disability prohibits driving but can demonstrate an
alternative means of fulfilling the requirements of the post).
- Have a knowledge and understanding of employee relations and attendance
management processes.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to
work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Successful applicants may be required to attend for a Health Assessment
