Clerical Officer - Western Health and Social Care Trust - Omagh

About the role:
- £12.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: Temporary until end of August 2025
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Maintenance of general filing systems
- Operation of computerized information system.
- Recording and distribution of incoming mail/post and dealing with routine
correspondence and outgoing mail and distribution to relevant staff.
- Prioritise and organise work effectively.
- Answering telephone calls and responding appropriately.
- Faxing and photocopying duties.
- Type up minutes of meetings etc.
- Liaising within the tea, and with other departments, agencies etc.
- Compliance with all relevant legislation relating and Trust policies relating to data
protection and confidentiality of information.
- Ordering stationery and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Performance of all general administrative tasks as appropriate.
- Assist with the production, presentation and distribution of written documentation
using Microsoft Word, including letters, memos, funding submissions and reports.
What you'll need for this role:
- 5 GCSE’s (Grades A-C) including English Language or
equivalent or higher educational standard*
- OR
2 years administrative / clerical experience
- * The above educational criteria will be waived for
candidates who have a disability as defined under the
Disability Discrimination Act 1995. These candidates will
automatically be shortlisted but will be required, together
with all other shortlisted candidates, to undertake an
interview
- Knowledge of Western Trust
- Confidentiality
Knowledge of Computer packages (e.g. MS Office, Email
etc)
Knowledge of office procedures
