About the role:
- £12.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm (Including 2 to 3 weekend days per month Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm).
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: Temporary on going block booking
What you'll be doing in this role:
- To assist radiography, nursing and other X-ray staff in the provision of an efficient and effective imaging service.

To transfer patients to and from the Radiology department.

To assist patients prior, during and after the imaging examination.

To assist with the transfer of patients within the x-ray rooms.

To consider patient care, comfort and safety at all times.

To deliver and collect x-ray referrals and other documentation regarding radiological examinations to and from the department.

To assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment and to ensure that all defects, faults and incidents are reported promptly to the line manager.

To assist radiology staff in the moving and storing of specialist equipment and other items pertaining to provision of the service.

To assist in the general housekeeping within the department.

To perform all duties in accordance with Radiology policies, Health and Safety at work Order(1978) and the Ionising Radiation Regulations NI(2017)

To perform evening and weekend duties when required as part of normal working week.
What you'll need for this role:
- Two GCSE’s (Grades A-C) or equivalent plus one year’s experience in a healthcare environment
- Or Two years’ experience in a registered healthcare environment.
- Have a caring nature and be respectful towards patients and colleagues at all times.
- Good communication skills. Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn.
