HGV Class 2 Driver Tilt & Slide Multicar Transporter – Ballymoney
Due to continued growth, a well-established and expanding vehicle recycling company in Ballymoney is recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to support the transportation of vehicles across Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business offering a stable and structured working environment.
About the role:
- £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday | 7.30am – 5.30pm
- Full-time, permanent position
- Optional additional hours available on Saturdays and out of hours
- No travel to mainland UK – all collections within Northern Ireland
- Full training provided
- 28 days holiday including statutory holidays
Duties:
- Operate a multi-car transporter to collect and deliver vehicles
- Load/unload vehicles safely and securely
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly
- Deliver a professional and courteous service – you are the face of the company
- Work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing routes/schedules
- Comply with all driver hour regulations, uniform, and PPE requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Full, clean driving licence with HGV Category C (Class 2)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Class 2 Driver
- Current CPC and Driver’s Card
- Strong customer service skills and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work flexibly as per business needs
