Administrative Support Staff - Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority - Belfast
The RQIA is the independent body responsible for monitoring and inspecting the availability and quality of health and social care services in Northern Ireland and encouraging improvements in the quality of those services.

About the role:
- £12.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week
- Duration: Temporary, ongoing for 3 months
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Provide high quality routine administrative support to individual departments
ensuring the effective operation of systems and procedures.
- Assist in the administration and implementation of administrative systems within
the departments.
- Manage the administration of the office ensuring a continual high standard of
service is provided to all staff, customers, members of the public and suppliers.
- Effectively prepare reports, documents and proposals for senior staff within the
department as well as supplying advice and assistance as required.
- Continually seek to improve the service delivered within the department by
committing to attend personal development training, demonstrating a team work
ethic and embracing change.
- Provide high level service to all stakeholders.
- Attend and take notes at meetings as required of the role.
What you'll need for this role:
- Five GCSEs including GCSE English
Language and GCSE Maths (Grades A*
- C) OR,
- Equivalent qualification to
demonstrate literacy and numeracy. OR,
- Higher Qualification. OR,
- 18 Months experience relevant to the role. AND,
- Evidence of one years experience working
with Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid
for use in the UK and have access to a car on
appointment.
- A knowledge and
understanding of the RQIA is desirable.
- Experience of minute taking is desirable.
- As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake an Enhanced Access NI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
