About the role:
- Rate of pay: £13.02 ph
- Hours of Work: Successful candidates will be required to work up to 37 hours per week, working days and hours will be defined based on location and role within the organisation. Given the nature of their duties, the post holder will be expected to work outside of these hours at weekends, evenings and public holidays as dictated by the needs of the service.

Duties:
- Complete duties relating to driving and being responsible for a vehicle, equipment, crew etc. completing duties as part of a set work schedule for waste collection, cleansing and recycling.
- Work individually or as part of a team to complete a range of duties including operating and being responsible for allocated equipment, working in co-operation with other crew members.
- Take responsibility for the safety, supervision and transportation of the crew, ensuring crew members comply with operational procedures whilst carrying out their duties and dealing with queries from members of the public or referring to the postholder’s line manager as appropriate.
- Completion of daily/weekly work schedules in relation to allocated duties.
Criteria:
- Applicants must have a minimum of one years’ continuous driving experience
- Applicants must have a valid Category B Driving Licence
- Applicants must have an awareness of Health and Safety and COSHH Legislation
- Please Note - Any penalty points active on the driving license must be declared along with the relevant code, these will then be assessed for relevance to the duties of the post
