Production & Quality Manager (Granite) - Full Time | Maghera
- Salary: £26,000 - £35,360 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Our client, a well-established granite and stone manufacturer with over 25 years' industry experience, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee production operations, quality control, polishing, finishing and installation standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring previous experience within the granite, quartz or stone industry. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing products through the manufacturing process, ensuring all worktops and bespoke stone products meet exact specifications, quality standards and customer expectations before installation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production and quality of granite, quartz and stone products from manufacture through to installation. Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating daily production activities.
- Managing the flow of granite and stone products through the workshop.
- Ensuring all products are manufactured to specification and customer requirements.
- Carrying out polishing, finishing and quality control inspections.
- Checking measurements and ensuring accuracy before products leave the workshop.
- Inspecting completed worktops, bar counters, fireplaces and bespoke stone products.
- Monitoring fitting and installation quality standards.
- Identifying and resolving production or fitting issues before completion.
- Working closely with fitting teams to ensure successful installations.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout production.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Supporting and mentoring production and fitting staff where required.
- Liaising with management regarding production schedules and customer deadlines.
Criteria:
- Previous experience within granite, quartz, marble or stone fabrication.
- Strong understanding of stone manufacturing, polishing and finishing processes.
- Experience carrying out quality checks and inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship.
- Experience supervising production processes or leading teams.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
