About the role:
- £12.75 per hour
- Craigavon Area Hospital
- 37.5 hours per week, variety of shifts available
- Temporary position
- Immediate start

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Lead a team in one or more of the following areas: dining room, coffee bar and patient meal service.
- Audit, monitor and maintain acceptable levels of catering services in all areas of responsibility including agreeing action plans and ensuring outcomes are achieved.
- Cater for any dietary requirements and ensure compliance in relation to allergens.
- Assist in the planning and supervision of work schedules to ensure that they are adhered to by staff.
- Understand and adhere to HACCP and ensure accurate recording and monitoring of HACCP forms.
- Ensure quality is maintained in regard to procedure, practices, portion control and presentation and to contribute to implementing new innovations and standards.
What you'll need for this role:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a customer/patient service role in either a Healthcare environment or the Hospitality Industry.
- Willingness to undergo appropriate training including Level 2 aware in Food Safety in Catering.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. (This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post).
- Flexible with regard to working arrangements to meet the demands of the post including working weekends and evenings as part of a rota.
