Clerical Officer - L/Derry - Public Sector
Join a Public Sector organisation in L/Derry as a Clerical Officer, where you'll provide vital administrative support while contributing to an efficient, collaborative and customer-focused service.
About the role:
- £12.71 per hour
- Location: L/Derry
- 37.5 hours a week
- Duration: Temporary with an initial duration of 2 months

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Undertake reception duties, which will include dealing with telephone enquiries efficiently and with courtesy.
- Operation of computerised information system.
- Distribution of incoming mail/post to relevant staff.
- Prioritise and organise work effectively.
- Provide clerical support to Social Work Teams as and when required.
- Compliance with all relevant legislation and Trust policies relating to data protection and confidentiality of information.
- Ordering stationery as and when required.
What you'll need for this role:
- 5 GCSE’s (Grades A-C) including English Language or equivalent or higher educational standard. OR,
- 2 years’ administrative/clerical experience.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. (This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.)
- Knowledge of computer packages (E.g. MS Office, Email etc)
