Due to continued success and increasing demand, Moore Concrete is recruiting for Joiners to join their busy team in Ballymena. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner or mould maker who takes pride in precision work and enjoys being part of a team that delivers high-quality products to industry-leading standards.
About the role:
- cĀ£18.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday (6am ā 3pm or 7am ā 4pm)
- Day shifts
- Flexibility to work overtime Saturdays as required
- Variable hours between 32 ā 48 hours per week
- 30 days holidays (including stats)
- Company Performance Related Pay (PRP) scheme
- Permanent position
What you'll be doing:
- Manufacture timber moulds and components in line with production plans and specifications
- Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings, ensuring accuracy in all work carried out
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the production process
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
What you'll need:
- Joinery qualification and/or previous experience within a joinery or mould-making environment
- Experience preparing moulds using correct materials and specifications
- Ability to work efficiently to production targets
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures (CSR or similar qualification desirable)
- Knowledge of quality standards and their application in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings is essential
