HR Training Officer - Maternity Cover 12 Months - Magherafelt

Working as part of a busy HR team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across employee relations, recruitment, training, wellbeing initiatives and payroll support, helping to drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
The Role:
- £Negotiable salary

- 12 month maternity cover
- Acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers, you will provide advice on HR policies and procedures, maintain accurate HR records and systems, support onboarding and employee engagement initiatives, and assist with performance management and learning & development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities
- Assist with absence management, employee relations and performance processes
- Prepare HR documentation, contracts and reports
- Maintain HR systems and employee records
- Support payroll preparation and benefits administration
- Coordinate training and development activities
- Assist with HR projects and policy updates
Essential Criteria:
- Third level qualification in HR or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law and best practice
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
