Administration Officer / Personal Assistant - Antrim
Join the public sector in Antrim as an Administration Officer / Personal Assistant and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations.
About the role:
- £14.06 per hour
- Monday - Friday
- 37.5 hours a week
- Duration: Up to 6 weeks

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Maintain and manage the diary of the Assistant Director and Department Heads, make appointments and arrange meetings as required.
- To work as part of a wider administration team to Capital Development Team and provide administration support as required ensuring the efficient running of all administrative matters.
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to all matters within the office.
- Deal with Assistant Director and Department Heads correspondence and be required to analyse all incoming mail/emails/information and ensure it is dealt with in an effective, efficient and prompt manner.
- Prepare documentation, presentations, files and papers for the Assistant Director and Department Heads in advance of meetings and provision of briefings as appropriate.
- Service meetings including the venue, preparation of agendas, preparation and distribution of papers, production of minutes and follow up action where necessary.
- Coordinate actions to all enquires ensuring that they are dealt with by relevant individuals within appropriate timescales and that any exceptions are reported.
What you'll need for this role:
- HND/HNC in business related subject plus 2 years’ personal assistant experience*
- OR 5 GCSE / ‘O’ Levels (for equivalent) plus 3 years’ personal assistant experience*
- OR 5 years’ personal assistant experience*
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Competent in using suite of Microsoft packages, including teams, outlook, excel, word etc.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
