Business Management Administrator - Belfast
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Management Administrator to join a busy public sector team in Belfast. In this role, you will provide key administrative support across recruitment, pre-employment checks, and trainee coordination, ensuring processes are managed efficiently and in line with required standards.
About the role:
- £12.75 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- Duration: 3 months with a possible extension
- Location: Beechill Road, Belfast
- 37.5 hours per week

What you'll be doing in this role:
- To assist with the administration, processing and reporting of Medical and Dental Trainee Study Leave and Travel expenses claim.
- To assist with the administration and reporting of NIMDTA’s contracts and procurement activities. Supporting staff throughout the organisation ensuring compliance with procurement guidance.
- To support NIMDTA staff in respect of HSC financial processes and systems including FPM and e-procurement and liaising with BSO Shared Service Centres.
- To assist in the procurement of offsite venue bookings and co-ordinating supplier quotes.
- To assist in the procurement and booking of flights and accommodation for NIMDTA staff and individuals working on behalf of NIMDTA.
- To assist in the administration of Lay Representatives, maintaining the register and bookings diary and liaising with NIMDTA staff
- To assist in compiling Performance Reports across all NIMDTA functional areas including the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators.
What you'll need for this role:
- Five GCSE’s (including GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths (Grades A* - C)
- OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy OR Higher Qualification
- One year’s experience working with Microsoft Office or similar
- Hold a full current driving license valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
- This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to an approved form of transport which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
