Administrator - Ulster Hospital
An opportunity has arisen to join the public sector as an Administrator based at Ulster Hospital. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services within a busy healthcare environment.
About the role:
- £12.75 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week, however will accept above 22.5 hours per week
- Location: Ulster Hospital Dundonald
- Temporary ongoing

What you'll be doing in this role:
- Providing word processing and audio typing support, including preparing letters and reports
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, responding or redirecting as appropriate
- Handling general enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining and coordinating diaries, including scheduling appointments
- Organising and arranging meetings, including minute taking
- Sorting, processing and maintaining accurate records and information
What you'll need for this role:
- 4 GCSE’s (Grade A-C) to include English Language or equivalent AND 1 year’s Administrative / Clerical experience.
- OR 2 year’s Administrative / Clerical experience
- OCR Level II Text processing or equivalent
- Audio typing qualification OR 6 months audio working experience
- Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
- Ability to utilise a variety of multi-media materials suitable for presentations
- Experience of specific administrative systems and procedures, as well as an awareness of the needs of service users of administrative services.
- Hold a full current driving licence (cover across the Trust will be required on occasion)
