Housekeeper/ Kitchen Assistant - Portstewart
The role involves a mix of housekeeping, light food preparation, and general kitchen duties, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests.
About this role:
- £Competitive salary
- Shifts are 8.30am - 3pm and 5pm - 8pm or dependant on business needs.
- Hours may vary depending on business needs, especially during busy periods or peak seasons.
- Seasonal role from April to September
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of food, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Set up the dining area before meal times, ensuring tables are laid out professionally and appropriately.
- Clear and clean the dining area after service, maintaining cleanliness at all times.
- Complete general wash‑up duties including dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety procedures.
- Tidy and service guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and comfort.
- On Fridays, remove used bed linen, replace with fresh linen, and make up beds to guest-ready standard.
- Clean bathrooms, vacuum rooms, empty bins, and restock toiletries as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in all guest areas, ensuring the B&B remains tidy, sanitary, and welcoming.
