Housekeepers - Portrush
An opportunity has become available for Housekeepers to join a busy hospitality team in Portrush. In this role, you will help ensure guest rooms and communal areas are cleaned, prepared, and maintained to a high standard, supporting the delivery of a positive experience for visitors.
About this role:
- £12.71 per hour
- Working Hours: 10.00 am - 2.00pm depending on changeovers, over a 7-day period
- Immediate starts available
- Duration of Post: Seasonal / Part Time (Easter - September 2026)
What you'll be doing in this role:
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms to a high standard, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms and showers, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, emptying bins, replenishing toiletries and ensuring fresh towels and bed linen are neatly presented
- Manage laundry duties including collecting used linen and towels, washing, drying, folding and ironing where required, and organising clean linen for upcoming check-ins
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all communal areas including halls, stairways and dining or breakfast rooms
- Report any maintenance issues, breakages or replacements required to management
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock is low
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene standards required within a hospitality environment
What you'll need for this role:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in B&B/hospitality essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Good standard of physical fitness (role involves bending, lifting, and standing).
